Technical Need some help with pedal ID

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by Mrjack55, Jun 30, 2017.

  1. So, long story short...know what you are buying before you buy it. Does anyone have any idea what these pedals came off of? I bought them thinking that they were F1 pedals, but I now know that's not the case. I can't tell if they are chassis mount or hung from under the dash. Dodge/Plymouth? Ford? Chevy? I hope someone on here knows. Thanks, Jack.

there's a number on the mounting bracket, what is it?

If it's mopar, they assigned part numbers sequentially, so you should be able to figure out what year it is, at least.

The number looks to be: 665884

665xxx does seem to be a 1937ish part number...

Yes, I think your right. 37-38 plymouth. Not the best picture, but below is from the service manual and the red box is the top down view of the pedal mounting plate. Looks like a match.

  9. Huzzah! Thank you to Jim and Raylloyd for solving the case. They do indeed look to be 37ish Plymouth.
    You guys rock!
