Technical *37 Ford Pickup Center Hood Hinge & Rad Support Rods*

I was going to replace my center hood hinge and before I put the order in I took a measurement and mine measures 28 1/2" . The replacement measures 29 3/4". Also, my radiator support rods measure 29 1/4" and the replacement is 32" Neither one looks like they have been modified so just where were these purchased from?

 

My 37 hood is 30.5 inches long.

Thanks for the info. I may have to buy a hinge and modify one end to get it to fit my 37. Luckily the rad rods come with enough threads on one end that I can cut it down to fit.

 

my bet is that they are like the rad support rods, they fit '32 to '36 cars... 1 size fits all...
the hinges are most probably made for all '35 to '37 trucks... you trim to fit...
... nice truck !

 

My 37 truck hood measures 30 1/2 inches in the middle. It probably is a cut to fit rod.
