    That's awesome! Those Buick caps (on your Ford) will be a great story someday.

    I grew up near a lake in Colorado that covered a town when they filled it (Vallacito Res). Supposedly there are several old Model A's in about 60 ft of water. I have always thought it would be fun to try to salvage something from them.

    I think you'd be wise to spread some dryer sheets around your excavation area. They won't actually do anything, but you'll look like a professional....... sort of.

  30. more research from "locals": do to the erosion of the island [ft per year] this may have been an inland "dump" .
