    Wind wings door windows and quarter windows, my 51 started out a 4 dr sedan, it's still a 4 dr but a convertible with a carson top now. There are more pictures on Rik Hovings Custom car site under John Williamson

    Had breakfast with him (Doug Feltham) this morning! I'll have to ask him what became of this one (he has had many rods AND customs)..

    On another note: I wonder how many "blind" '58/'59 Lincolns were running around 50 or 60 years ago? :confused::rolleyes:

    It is sub zero temperatures here in the uk with heavy snow in parts this week . Not sure if uk weather news reaches the USA .This thread is superb and has really completed my Merc education. Strangely I really like the four door sedans. Not sure why......

    I concur it's been bloody cold.

    The 4drs have sneaked up on me over the past few years and I reckon it' down to the suicide doors on them.sooo cool
