History Station Wagon Living!

You forgot to mention the toy "tail-gunner" machine gun we used to poke out the back and play B-17 Flying Fortress like "12 o'clock High"! Hee. Could you imagine kids doing that today? Mr. T.H.

61 Pontiac wagon I bought a couple weeks ago
Great road car with 389 and 4 speed. Just working on making it mine

 

My 52 Plymouth suburban 44000 original miles upgraded motor,suspension

 

'69 came to CA in a '57 Ford Ranchwagon (2dr/292/3spd) converted to a camper(1' x 4' x 8' plywood box on top to hold our "stuff" LOL!) , Later bought my(ex)wife a Falcon wgn, then got a '59 Ranchwagon(2dr/292/3spd) to use for a racecar tow vehicle(shortlived) : it became a 2dr enclosed Pick-Up(overload rear springs). Now have 2 Swedish OT 4dr Station wgns that I call "4dr PU Trucks"! Great for Swap-meets/parts chasing!

 

I miss my wagons.I am looking to trade my 56 Chrysler Windsor for a station wagon.Bruce.

 

Here's a few pictures of my friends 57 Chevy. He just finished building it. Like my 56 nomad ,he needed a rod to take the grandkids along too. Who would have ever thought we would be driving station wagons. Lol Ron...
