1953 Ford F100 pickup for sale. This is the last year of the flathead V8 for Ford and Ford's 50th year anniversary edition. I built this pickup as a 60's custom, trying to be period correct as much as possible. The original automatic has been replaced with a new C4 automatic from Speedway Motors. The flathead V8 is the original engine and has been rebuilt w/ less than 1000 miles. The suspension work is old school with static drop front and rear to give it that perfect stance, and big-little bias-ply tires from Coker to complete the look. The body needs work, or leave it like it is. The door bottoms are rusted out out and the cab has some rust out at corners and top. The bed and fenders are good shape overall, except the front left fender is rough. New oak bed kit with stainless steel strips and hardware. New stainless steel front and rear bumpers. 3" dropped front axle done by Sids in Oklahoma. Powder coated 15" wheels. Coker Classics extra wide white wall bias-ply tires. Front disc brake conversion. New brakes all around w/ new brake lines and master cylinder Posie Superslider springs front and rear, new bushings all around. Rebuilt steering box Rebuilt rear axle Dana 44 with all new bearings and bushings and 3.45 ratio Dual exhaust with Reds headers and Smithy's mufflers, with the tail pipes punched thru the rear bumper. Mallory flathead electronic distributor. Flathead was modified for full flow oil filtration with modern spin-on oil filter. Speedway C4 automatic with Speedway flathead/C4 adapter kit. Rebuilt/recovered bench seat. New 3-point seat belts. 12V conversion with new Speedway wiring harness. New side glass and vent windows. Clean Oregon title in my name. Has Oregon SP plates which never require registration renewal.
Here's some video's of pickup running/driving. One of those is a cold start I can see the manual choke moving. https://goo.gl/photos/Z1XYkZyKcDTpDfRj9
