  3. So sweet, Doc! I've always loved pictures of great stripers in action.
Your spotlight handles turned out super! There are so many guys doing great things like this nowadays. Sometimes I look at their work and think "How the heck did they do that?" E

Is this a hardtop roof going on a post sedan? Will it retain the door pillars? I would very much like to see/hear more about this project. I have a '54 glasstop roof I'd like to put on my '53 tudor sedan when I correct the butchered chop job I did in high school and I had a similar idea and I'd love to hear more about how this worked out and what works and what doesn't. I know they're slightly different cars but a lot of knowledge would interchange.

The profile of the one above already looks great, almost 56 Lincoln-ish.

Yes he used a Hardtop for his donor and will attach the B pillars to the top. I will get with him and post more pics later. His idea should work on other rides and cant wait to see it finished. Going to be kool.

Yeah, that would be awesome. The hardtops have a nice profile and roof height, I think this is a really cool idea.

You remember seeing the car somewhere, but can`t remember where. Maybe it was the cover of Rod and Custom magazine. Scan0326.jpg

I was not aware that it was a local car when built originally...I'm around 40 Mile's west of Portland Oregon...

  24. Seems to take some styling cues from the Kirkegaard Merc single spot, original taillights, leaving the handles and stock trim on.
