Hot Rods OBVIOUSLY A LOOSE SCREW

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Jun 6, 2017.

  1. Use stainless steel button head screws and jam thickness nylock nuts.
Not likely for a turd to have an allen wrench laying on the dash by the Skoal can.

  2. That's what I used, both in attaching the license plate to the spreader bar & the topper to the tag.

I honestly don't think someone stole it. HRP

I have an extra one that I was saving for a future build, which at my age, probably won't happen. If you can use, I can send it.

Who in their right mind would trust a clown?
They always have creeped the hell out of me.
Doesn't help that we had a battery operated creepy clown mask in a hall closet as a kid. It would randomly laugh from time to time. Should have pulled the batteries out of that damn thing. Was too creeped out by it to attempt it though.

    Don't judge, I was only about 6 or 7

I've mentioned this before but if you don't think clowns are terrifying you should check out Stephen King's IT and Pennywise the clown.

So........the other day I'm flying down the highway and I see this shiny thing in the road up ahead me, I locked up the brakes, hopped out and right there staring me in the face is a HAMB tag topper. Score!

You're quite welcome Danny. I was given one a while back by another HAMB member when none were available and then when more were made available I ordered a couple more.

So I was glad to pass it on.

This is what the world needs to get back to, people helping people. Too many people today only lend a hand if they themselves can profit from it. Good on you Larry!

If I had a finished car and a HAMB tag I'd use safety wire. Bob

  25. I did a little sanding, polishing and drilled a hole to mount the tag this morning, then I rattle caned the red paint and let it dry and took lacquer thinner to it to remove the excess.

I used Loctite & a Nylock nut to hold it in place...It ain't going no where without the car hooked to it! HRP
