Will I be able to buy Methanol at the track during Meltdown?

 

They should have it there. The best deal on fuel is the wilkom mobil distributor on the I-94 east frontage rd. Its only2-3 miles south of the track. The last drum i bought there was around 135.00. The track is very expensive. They are open saturday morning.

Got down to the Grove yesterday and it was raining...Bad! RAINED UNTIL around 2pm. After that we got some time sheets! Here are a couple of pics.

When you decide you want to go fast I am sure I can make it happen If you don't believe me just ask David tanner who runs the famous outhouse mouse 32 chevy coupe he wanted to go fast and I helped him out with that lol

Checked out the bottom end and looks okay so it's back in with the old bullet.
So no one need be scared unless you were last year.

Can't wait to see you guys again, you may still have a chance to beat on old Tickety Boo.

Got some electrical gremlins going on since we did some welding on the extra motor tie downs.

Think there is a ground in the wire going battery too the one wire alternator. The oil temp gauge
goes wonky, alt gets hot and engine misses under load. Gauge goes back to normal when wire is disconnected.

Any ways here is some more coil springs to look at. lol

Glad I got to see it now,cause that's the last time I'm gonna get a look at the back of that thing.
Thought I'd be able to make some test passes this morning after breakfast,but my fuel didn't show up yet.

Bummer about the electric issues. DubG and I are in the same boat right now too. Or maybe the same body of water anyways...... Had to upgrade the starter. Now when we try to start it s like the battery don't have enough juice. Won't spin the starter motor very fast if at all. We did take the battery in and have it tested and they hooked us up with a new one. Wasn't fully charged..... So..... I may have it down to the key switch. New one coming today.
Now if we try and crank it and use the 150amp boost on the charger she cranks right up. What's up with that?
