Well South Dakota isnt as big as Texas but it way bigger than Connecticut. Yep right in your back yard is only 25 minutes away. Btw. I do own a flathead so yes my car is slow but it looks damn Kool!

 

Something must be wrong with your flathead if it's slow!!

 

You could come over to my white trash junkyard and kill an hour or 5... I probably have a thing or two that would love to go live in Australia

I have spoken with iwannaflattie and msg'd custom_line, we will fill our time with these members at Las Vegas.
There have been lots of helpful info posted in this thread that has been taken on board, and other contacts made that I hope we can meet with on the way.

What an adventure. Sure wish I could have driven the 7 hours up there to help out.

 

The boys are back in Las Vegas today,driving a huge truck (read,not easy to park anywhere)
I'm in California otherwise id show them around some more.

junk yard operators around here are all old men in three day worn clothes and bad attitudes..........everything is better in vegas.......

 

Next time we will buy closer to S.D., just to take you up on your offer.

There were other people I would have liked to have met up there, however the road beckons and we have other things we have to pursue back in California before our departure date
