Hot Rods THE INDUCTION THREAD

This setup is a pair of 750cfm Holleys on a heavily modified Weiand tunnel ram that's had lots of welding on the runners to raise the roof of the ports.
It's all on a bored and stroked sbf in the car we run at the Meltdown Drags.
It's not as cool as some of the Hilborn or Supercharged setups shown,but it makes an awful lot of power for a tiny little motor

This was a lucky shot. This 34 was rolling in with his buddy in a 32 behind him. I was standing next to the road shooting another car at the time, and stopped to look at this one as he came by. I raised the camera, aimed it and clicked the shutter button, and just as the camera responds the engine backfired shooting a pair of flames up a couple of feet. And I caught it!

Dan Guerney’s All-American Racers (AAR) outfit produced some really interesting and awesome stuff over the years and one of the pieces from an AAR Donovan small block Chevy is for sale and it rules. This is an intake manifold from one of those cars. A very traditional looking tunnel ram is topped with a pair of huge throttle bodies and plumbed with lines to introduce methanol fuel into the intake runners that were craving it at the high RPM that these babies ran.
