Edco...glad to see you're keeping this post alive, I haven't put any time into the '57 Vette I'm doing.
I'm anxious to see how yours comes out but enjoy seeing the progress.

  6. I hope he stays interested in it. The bad part now is all we can build are Batman vehicles. I'd rather build something else but I have to keep him interested. But he went through some kits and liked the road agent and a gangbusters car.

Thought some of you may like my latest build. Called the 'Lowly A'. It is (will be) a chopped and chanelled Model A tudor in approx 1/3 scale.

Visiting Family in Michigan and stopped by to pick up some toy parts from a friend in his 80's who had worked in the auto industry. He showed me these 3 rare wooden Ford scale models from the early 1900's he had in his private collection. These were actually built and used by Ford Motor Company in their design and manufacturing of the real full size cars. The craftsmanship and detail on these models was amazing. The wheels were also wood with metal spokes and the brass work on the one car was even real.

Joker, soft solid aluminum or copper works too, and isn't so easy to bump and accidentally bend. I love solder for hoses, from radiator to garden hoses on dioramas. Gary

  17. Next project IMG_20170530_225543.jpg these old gangbusters kits are sweet. It has shot up window and radiator, a safe, two gangsters, guns, brass knuckles, jewelry and money cases. Never built one before but I think a box stocker would be a good change
