I have never been. I have a motel a block from beach, and they say they have safe trailer parking off premises. I am not racing. Is it worth hauling your hot rods over on a trailer just to cruise for the weekend activities?
Hey - thanks. My cousin from Colorado is meeting me there. Think I'll take two, so they have one also.
When you haul one so your cuz from Colorado can use it, it seems excusable. I have been a hard core drive it there guy since 1973 but being 70 instead of 27 as I was when I took the 40 on it's first road trip to the street rod nationals in Tulsa in 1973 and that was 407 miles one way . Next time around we may end up with a motorhome towing the 48 or the Model A because I have some month and more road trips planned and motels every night would dig deep into the kitty. PLP the wife and I drove a rental car from Washington to Pismo beach last October and although we had a blast and a great vacation it wasn't the same being there without a hot rod or custom even though I wouldn't have been able to race and wouldn't have put one in their customs by the sea show. Having your ride there makes you a part of things while driving the comfy OT rig makes you a spectator.
I think he said he was bringing two cars down. (1 for his cousin to drive when he gets there.) So I suppose he can't drive them both down.
Best cruising is at 630 7 am in the morning hit up the Cadillac diner get breakfast and enjoy the town with nobody on the road! Sent from my SM-G930V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
