Outstanding, wish I knew how you did it? Are you shrinking the curves, pressing them, hammering them over and then english wheeling? Please share more of your work, I know this isn't the first stuff you've made.
Awesome work,what kind of rivets are you using and where did you get them from. I use 1/8 round head rivets but I like the ones you use with the bigger head. Thanks Mike from Syracuse N.Y.
These pictures were from the first try, not so good! But I think you get the hang of it. You know when doing this kind of thing, the first is not getting well, the other gets better, and the third gets fine! So to make one, you have to make 3 pieces! ........ Annealing the curves, hammering over the buck, shrinkage where needed and more hammering to 90 degrees. Smooth out all the irregularities. Take the 3 pieces of buck out, Hammering the lip around the aluminum rod. "I know this isn't the first stuff you've made." Maybe you're right, I'm almost an old fart now! Jorgen
