I have 2 - five speed T5 borgwarner transmissions. from S10's. Both of the transmissions have electric speedometer hook ups. #1 = gear ratio is 4.03 first gear with a .76 overdrive ratio. (S10 truck) #2 = gear ratio is 4.03 first gear with a .83 overdrive ratio. (S10 truck) These 5 speed T5 transmissions will bolt up to virtually any Chevy bell housing from the mid 50's on up, and you can put them in the older (pre 55) GM cars and trucks with an adapter plate. I used one just like them in my 52 Chevy. As far as the speedo hook up goes, you can now buy electric speedo's for about $100 sometimes less. I have not used either of these but was assured by the PO's that they both worked well. These transmissions really pep up the older 6 cylinder motors, and then let the RPM settle down for cruising on the highway without screaming.
