Event Coverage Studebaker Show and Swap South Bend 2017

It was a real nice weekend for the International Meet in south Bend this year. The only complaint is that it was so sunny it was hard to get real good pics, too much glare. I do have a bunch of them, however. I have had these a couple weeks now and decided to post them anyway.

Nice pics, I've got to make the trip with mine one day. Not sure what they would think of my bastardized contraption.

 

It'd be welcome. Don't be surprised iffen you'd find drool puddles near it.
& being a sedan, instead of the usual C/K or 50/51 starlight cpe, it'd attract even more attention. Not that you'd want any of that... .
Unfortunately, AFAIK, the nearby tracks' owner died, & the widow doesn't want to deal w/it, so's the strip n land is for sale. = no drags. Hopefully, someone will/can step up & save the strip. It's a little one in the middle of nowhere, but it's still really neat.
FWIW: Every year, ~ 1st fri/sat of May, the Micheana(sp?) Stude chapter puts on a really good swap meet/mini car show (Studes n 'others'). Every 5 years, it's HOMECOMING! = Stude Nats. Both are well worth going to.
