Beautiful start. Thanks for the likes from the last show. Here's a piece I shared last show. I did a little experimenting with shading sheets. I think it turned out OK. cartoons piece3.jpg cartoons piece5.jpg

Been up to my neck in work lately, so I haven't been able to experiment with color on this one....but a color version is very much on the horizon.

    Hello,

After the R/C car fiasco, it took some time to get back to the drawing pad. My drawings got more creative and fairly realistic. The surfboards now had 3 fins, or thrusters. The color and designs on the truck were clearer. Comparing this new truck to the one from

was eye opening in my drawing book. My 1996 hand was steadier, and the lines were sharper. Sign of the times. It must be the new, "Nap King." Over the years, I learned to take a nap just about anywhere...long college class registration lines, Hollywood movie premiers, concert ticket lines, and of course, car shows. If there was a wall, I took a nap.

A 1976 newborn will create some havoc anywhere, anytime. But, in between nap time, the art book came out for some fun. Back then, when ever there was "quiet time" in the hectic household, it was a calming effect to draw some fun stuff.

Harold's Hot Rods, where I hang out every day, kind of my dream retirement gig. Last linoleum block I did was probably in the 70's. thought it turned out OK.

wow, you guys just knock me out with your talent. I love Greeny's B-52 images and the 55 Plymouth from Frogz is stunning. Everyone deserves gold stars on your offerings. Thanx for "my art fix" today.
