Been getting a little done here and there. Waiting on my wiring kit and some of the rest of my wiring stuff. Floor is almost done just have to cut the emergency brake hole and stain it.

Haven't posted in a bit! The truck is basically done. Just waiting on some headers from gear drive. Started it up a couple weekends ago for a second and it sounds good! I used cloth wire loom and cloth wire where it was exposed.

  6. Nice truck and I don't want to put a cramp in your build but if this is all you have on it you are going to run into issues down the road. G2 is not water resistant and with the talc in it will actually absorb moisture.

They are stewart warner wings gauges. They're aftermarket

  11. There have been several Model A trucks built lately. All chopped and fenderless. I've always preferred them with fenders but builds like yours have converted me. It just looks right!

Haven't posted anything in while but I've been driving the truck all summer! Pretty much 4-5 days a week if it isn't raining. It turned out to be super reliable! Haven't had any major problems with it. I've got a few things that I want to do now before I paint it and a couple little bugs to work out. Here are some current pictures of it!
My buddy and I went out to the hot rod hill climb in September.

Nice work, but I was just wondering how comfortable you found the seating position.
The back of your seat looked almost vertical in one of the pic's and I know if it is really like that, there would be no way my bad old back could handle it. Or was I not seeing it right?

It honestly isn't terrible because it has webbing on the back that I sort of sit in a little pocket. I can drive it for about an hour and a half comfortably. It's definitely not the best and I plan on taking out the wood and replacing it with high density foam to make it a little better.

  21. Likewise saw your truck at HRHC. It's a great looking truck. My son and I looked at it a lot. It has quickly become my favorite hotrod truck. It has the mean look that I love. Great job on it!

I believe its from a T bird.. A 40 Ford rear will be replacing it in the future.
