    Hello,

    Wow, Ron, nice photo of your mom and family, including that little flat top kid...For as long as I can remember, my mom was always hovering over me because I was the littlest brother and I needed attention/protection. The only time I can remember when she did not hover was when I was riding my pump mobile around a trailer park. It was a big place and for some reason, I was able to go all over without my mom hovering. Jump up many years later and again, she wanted nothing to do with any sports that were going to hurt her littlest one.

    By the time I got to high school, it got to be a little irritating because she definitely hated drag racing and hot rods. She could not figure out why we wanted to crawl under a car at night and freeze our A$$%^ off while doing stuff to the cars. But the plus thing was those excellent sandwiches and hot drinks came our way.

    Now, after August 1960, she definitely hated drag racing for what it did to my brother. But, she could not get over why we wanted to ride, not race, motorcycles in the desert. She was not mechanically inclined, but could have made millions with her own cook book recipes.

    So, all of these years later…we do miss her being around. But some of our favorite recipes will always stay with us. Thanks, mom... Happy Mother's Day weekend...

    Did I make it? Nearly midnight on Friday... My TinkerCad Model A coupe has scorch marks and blisters on the top of the fenders where the tires rub because it's the right amount of LOW.
