Great thread and a good day to check my P.O. box. I like the super simple, mid 60's graphic design on these tune up parts and manuals for my little Chevy II wagon. Right before things got ugly... IMG_7451.JPG

IMG_5471.JPG Some spoof "NOS" graphics I did lately while under the hood. The plastic is genuine "fake-o-lite" rattle can.

Shurshit! Ha. Actually it's a homemade decal using epoxy and a photo copy. I can send you a copy of the design if you want to try it yourself. Or you can make your own. It's a pretty direct rip off. I had to basically glue/squeegee it directly on to the coil. HERE'S HOW: 1 get your color photo copy. 2 spray the back with white paint- helps with opacity. 3 cut out the design. 4 tape off a wide border on whatever you are applying the design to. 5 mix up some thinned out epoxy and saturate the paper -get some on the painted back side too, but don't go nuts. Just enough to get it shiny. 6 position the gooey photo copy on your coil (or whatever). 7 cover it in a layer of wax paper. 8 on top of the wax paper, carefully squeegee off the excess epoxy out onto your taped off border- those yellow plastic bondo squeegees are perfect, but even cardboard will do- it helps to tape the wax paper down taght around the edges- any ripples you see in the wax paper you will see when done. 8 let the epoxy harden. 9 peel wax paper off. 10 peel taped border off - you might need to use a razor blade around the edges of the design. A lot of hoops to jump through but hey, it's CUSTOM. The easier route is to buy some water slide decal paper and run it through a copier.

    Wonderful graphics Muttley.
Are they all orignal waterslide decals?
    Do you own them?

Are they still produced and available?
Sorry for all the questions ...
