Technical C-6 shifts into third too quick

    Its into third around 20 and the modulator has been adjusted in all the way,I have heard there are different length pushrods so time to start looking. It was not that bad with the 2.75 gears but now that I changed to 3.00 gears I need to do something.

    I believe there are different modulators also .

    Do you have a thread in or push in modulator? Only 1 design modulator available of the thread in , that I know of. If a push in, use a purple stripe modulator... on the pin length, you can get some some diameter weld rod.. add on about .060 to the over all length. See if that helps shift timing on the gear change.


    I guess , You do not have a throttle rod from the carb to the transission hooked up?

    Passing gear linkage hooked up and I think push in and will look into the purple stripe modulator.
