    More on Hole Shot 6

Moonlighting General Motors engineer Tom Langdon and crew terrorized the six-cylinder gasser category with this Anglia known as the Hole Shot 6. Originally powered by an early-style Chevy stovebolt six, the Anglia later picked up sponsorship from Royal Automotive in suburban Detroit and ran a screaming Pontiac overhead-cam six.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see the Duggan car runs a 261! I assumed that an early Chevy II would've run a 250 or 292. I love the injection, does anyone have any more info?

I suspect it is a home made unit, made from some other injection manifold. I made one for Ray Hedstroms 261. It was pictured in the 12 port news as a do it your self project. It looked like this four cylinder and Buick eight except that it had three throttles. Nice letters. Don't know why. These throttles are from a SOHC 4.6 Ford about 2002 or so. 232323232%7Ffp733;8)nu=8737);92)25 )WSNRCG=338;68( 5234;nu0mrj.jpg DSCN8335.JPG

This is another injector I made for a four cylinder using Suzuki Motorcycle throttles. Nothing against Hilborn. I used their nozzles, pump and metering block. But car and motorcycle EFI throttles are a lot cheaper than Hilborn. And they are made to last 200,000 miles. It's not that hard to do and mine ran well in SCTA competition. I have pictured these before in hope that someone else will do the same thing. 750 inj.l share.jpg .

DSCN0035.JPG This is off of a late 90s Chevy V8. I kind of thought somebody could use three of these things on a 3 X 2 manifold and put the nozzles in the runners. Might be cool. I have three of them with the excess Chevy stuff taken off like this one.

10.36 at about 5900 in the lights if my memory serves me right. That's R Shenells slider flathead at bg in 05 in the final round. He hurt it bad. Word has it that was the old Herbert Schubert car or one of them. But again I am not sure. Some one on here can probobly make the call. The bottom was bone stock other than cam. I could duplicate every thing less blower for around 1300$. LolSold the roller to a guy in Ark. lost track of it. . Actually won bowling green reunion in 05 and did a runner up against Charlie overfelt in 06. Rained out the final round. Lost the coin flip. Lol. Charlie had me covered by a bunch though he probobly would have put me on the trailer. He was running a big number then. . He's a neat guy. I think a lot of him.

Depending on the track, best of 6.86 to 7.15. For the day pretty good. I am presently restoring the chassis as you see it. one eight mile naturally.
