Word is there will be a Jackson sighting up this way this afternoon.
Seems he looking for go fast parts.
Guess it makes sense to get them from the guy that keep out running you.

Got the battery re-located today, and have a possible kill switch location.

I would put it on the left side...but that makes for more battery cable.

More about making the car ? truck work off the line.
And use a push pull to turn off and on that way you can mount your disconnect close to the battery that will save cable and amp draw.
Ric schooled me on that one.

So if the motor torque twists the car to the right putting the weight on the left side would make more sense now wouldn't it........? That is if I'm reading you correctly?

When you launch the left side want to lift the right want to go down.
Just try to picture what the rear end does when it is trying to rotate under the car / truck when it leaves the line.

This could be your X frame Salty, with the bigger and better 460 W. 20170417_090706.jpg
With the right Camera angle, you might get a picture of Jacksons digger under the front wheel.:D

I was chugging along getting my 57 150 ready, until I ran into a roadblock last week. I found damage on at least 6 pistons. Facebook experts think it butted the rings, took chunks out of the pistons and then had some detonation because of the chunks flying around . I have yet to get it to a machine shop to get a real opinion. I built the motor 5 years ago and had in an O/T car until I parted it out in December, I had no clue it had issues until I drained the oil. I need to get a hold of Ric and get some new pistons once I decide what heads I will be using, what compression I want, and the bore size.

Nice job gammz but you might want to paint the center around the lever white so it stands out a bit

Will do. I was wondering if we shouldn't make it stand out better in case of tragic event and someone has to shut it off.
