  2. That would take me a year just to even attempt to make those changes on just one pic with my meager photoshop skills, never mind the eye to take the pic in the first place.

Thanks so much Jimmy(gonmad), Dr. Dave, Blue(JOYFLEA) and bowie. I sometimes think doing all this is counterproductive since I don't think have the people who might like this thread even know it's out there.

Love your photos. What make is that yellow sedan? Looks like a '33-'34 something but I don't recognize it.

  7. I think it's a 1933 Plymouth.

Once again stunning photos, I love the colour in your pictures. Thanks for posting.

  19. I too appreciate your photography skill and the editing on top of it is amazing. Thanks for posting the before and after photo's as that really highlighted the work you apply to your imagines. I studied that closely and it is amazing what the eye doesn't pick up on when one looks at a photo of a particular object. I hadn't noticed the people in the background as I was taking in the detail of what is in the main frame of the picture so it is all the extra work you do that makes them so absolutely worthwhile studying them.

Thanks a bunch 55Deso, dniemi and whiplash1923T. It always helps to know people are enjoying them and so the effort is worth it. I don't go quite as far on all the images as I did on that 51 Ford on the previous page. I shot it thinking that everything is positioned so I can latter remove it. The tricky thing is not what you remove, but what you replace it with. The hardest one on that image is when I removed the entry tag and had to reconstruct the tuck and roll headliner it was blocking.

Here is one that is technically cheating a little. I actually took this shot 2 weeks prior to LSRU at another show in Lubbock, TX called the West Texas Roundup - the first year for that show. It is the gorgeous, immaculate Stromberg setup from the SBC in Steve Boschma's red 55 Chevy Gasser which was parked by the Austin Speed Shop booth and also at Austin Speed Shop itself.. Since I didn't do a HAMB thread on that show, I figured it was ok to show that image here.

Too bad the 2 other Hilton A's were not lined up with the rest. The dark orange A at the end is not one of the set.

  23. Why not set all your threads under Art and Inspiration? Shure looks like art to me.

Thank you Crusty Chevy. Actually that sounds like a decent idea. I used to like it when I did not have to classify it since I think it is a mix of both Event Coverage and Artistic Inspiration - hopefully

One of the cars I heard was coming and was really excited to photograph is this one. Sadly, I did not get a good opportunity since every time I went by the hood and trunk were up and no one around to close those. I did see in someone else's thread a great image of it all closed up at dusk at the Austin Speed Shop - obviously on a different night than I was there. So here is my snapshot of it with a few minor fixes.

You're very welcome and thank you again Putz for checking in.
