Art & Inspiration Old Gas Station

Got this off a friend's FB page. He had just had breakfast at George's Diner in Mrerdith NH and saw this and took a pic.

 

Love to have that for a working garage. My dad owned a station like that in the 30s. His old building still exists, but has been modified so many times over the years that no sign of its former use is visible.
My dad was a young man when he owned it, and told great stories about the regulars and the tricks they pulled. Thanks for posting.

Nice looking building and that would make a great looking home garage.

 

Indeed, what a great place to have a shop. Live just around the corner and get up in the morning and tinker all day on Hot Rods.
Now there's retirement!
