I'm selling my professionally rebuilt Ford flathead engine, a 1950 8BA truck motor. It was rebuilt from top to bottom by Burbank Speed and Machine. Nothing was left untouched, and it has ZERO MILES ON IT!!! I'm selling because I sold the car it was going into, and my interests now lie elsewhere. It also comes with a 1972 Ford Toploader, adapted to fit!!! Here's all specs: Engine: -1950 Ford 8BA truck motor -hardened valve seats -relieved -Balanced -ALL new internals -Reconditioned oil pump and water pumps -.030 over (rebuilt to stock, but able to handle hop ups) -Reground cam and crank -COMPLETE, has starter etc etc Transmission: -1972 Ford toploader -Converted to top-shift via Jeep shift tower -Uses rare 1953 1/2 Mercury cast bellhousing to adapt it to fit the 8BA -comes with all components installed, just bolt on to motor, connect your clutch rod, and go! -Since this is a full synchro transmission, it's far better and stronger than the original 39 toploaders The only things I have left are things like putting the carburetor back together with new gaskets and new spark plug wires, etc. This engine is a top notch rebuild that was painted in gray and black to fit almost any paint scheme.
