  2. Great work by Mike and yes that was before my time on here. I'm sure all of those original tees are worn out by now unless they were framed for posterity...........So....with that in mind, hows about a re-do on them, hint, hint.:D;)

  3. I'm with Don! I understand Ryan's desire to (normally) not do anything twice, and I admire him for that stand. But, Boss, sometimes a revisit to the past is both that reminiscing "sip of mental tequila" for those long in the HAMB-tooth and that "first shot" for those of us still wet behind our traditional ears!

How 'bout it, sir? For the old times....

The idea of a reissue appeals to me provided there is some little tweak to distinguish the originals from the new ones. I'm not sure what to suggest, however. I wouldn't change the art work. Maybe a subtle change in the shirts used? (That likely would happen regardless, I suppose.)

Very cool that you finally met the man and even cooler that he not only still had the test panel but brought it to you!
    Very cool, Mike!

I have one somewhere, maybe, or it is an oil rag, can't remember. Thems were days.

I still have my T-shirt. It made it through Katrina and is still folded with Mikey's sticker on it! :)

Untill I read the story my thought was, oh, a cool new short. Love the story and your hook up with Mike is awesome. John Mearns rules!! The Acme divco is one of my fave hot rods of all times.

Killer had some cool TSR stuff too as I recall. I wonder what became of him?

I think if you did do a re-issue, They should be made availible to the first 2500 members only. and then only if you are a Alliance member

Well, we need more shirts that look that good and have such a rich provenance. Great story. The Boss ain't one to give up on some public gratitude just because the deed has some serious age on it. Good on ya, Ryan!

  17. I've still got one of Mike's t-shirts.

Another vote for a reissue -- the design would make a cool decal too.

Mine got trashed during a tranny swap for Brads Merc. I remember it clearly, I screwed up my new tattoo and that shirt all in one shot.

  21. I still have at least 2. One I wear in the shop and another one I wear for good...wearing it right now, in fact. I"d have to go hunting for the 3rd one. Kind of a strange design but I love it.

Very cool that 'Mikey' is still around. I have both of mine still V.1 & V.2........I also, still have the 'Mikeys Ts' sticker on my toolbox.

    Chris

Oh yea, don't reprint them.......it's was funny when I first wore this shirt at BTT50's back in 2002 & walking around the 'show' and people were giving me 'dirty looks' & a few were giving me the "Supersecret" head-nod. I swore that I watched my back while walking around the show. I still think about it to this day of how much the HAMB was 'Punkrock' back then and wearing a "HAMB" shirt out, meant that you might meet someone that you didn't want to meet.......haha.........or you would meet an 'old timer' and he would say "Your just a kid".

Hey guys, Mike just retired so I'm pretty sure he'll be looking for new, interesting things to do! I mean after he decompresses from LSRU roadtrip, that is! I'm in for a couple.

  27. Mike's a nice fella--I got to meet him when he and John arrived at Flat Top Bob's last week. I didn't know he was an artist though...wow!

  28. Still got mine.

I had a decent design or two in the little competition we had. Thought I might have been a contender until Mike showed up and handed me a one way ticket to Palookaville (then Norwell showed up and told me to get the hell out of Palookaville) :D

My shirt still survives- although modified into a blanket made from hot rod shirts that my wife and daughters made me a couple years ago!

  30. That's cool.
I'd not seen this design before.
The style suits the era thing, maybe a different design in this style?
