Anybody use this for gas in the oil pan,
after fix the carb, drain the oil, and new oil and filter.

old oil has bad stuff in it filter was plug up
was a new motor and now what
    drop the pan?
    run it any way?
    re build? the motor
    suggesting??? i need help

  2. If you gas fouled your oil and were not running it until it lost oil pressure and toasted the main bearings chances are good that all you need to do it change the oil.

if you lost compression then you may need to squirt a little oil down the cylinders to get it running again.

Snake oil, but buy it somebody has a boat payment to make.
Metal in the oil? Time to open it up and see how bad it really is. Good luck.

New motor or not metal in the oil sounds like real bad news no matter what the cause. How much gas got in the oil? How long did it run that way? I just drained one that had close to a gallon in it (fuel pump was letting fuel in the crankcase), drained the oil, refilled it. Primed the oil before I fired it, all seems well but I didn't find metal in the drain oil, it had ran maybe 5/10 minutes with gas in it. Good luck.

If you can see metal particles in the oil, large enough to determine the metalurgy, the damage is pretty significant. Unless your viewing these particles under magnification, they are at least 30 - 40 micron in size, which is the limit of human eyesight. For guys like me, it's a lot larger than that, unless I'm wearing glasses anyway. Whatever that snake oil has in it is not going to fill in 40 micron size wear damage.
