We started working on this project in earnest in July of 2013.
Here is what it looked like when we rolled it into the shop.

We cleaned it all up and backed it out in the sun today for a final photo shoot. The car will be debuted in the spring car show next weekend in our local mall.
Here are today's pics. We are pleased with the results.

  5. You guys have raised the bar yet again,I have enjoyed following this build from the start and along with you I was happy with every accomplishment and shared your disappointments with the glass & engine problems but that is all in the past!

The first real Woodie Ranch Wagon and I believe it will go head to head with any other wagon and come out on top.

Looking forward to seeing photo's at the shows. HRP

Great job! Perseverance in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds....

  8. I didn't really realize just how long the side glass actually was until I saw this photo.
    The chop enhanced the look!

Again, you guys took a car that a lot of people considered a ugly duckling and turned it into a classy phantom Woodie. (thought I was gonna say swan, didn't you?) HRP

  9. Are you guys gonna take a break and enjoy yourselves for a while or is there another project waiting in the wings? HRP

  10. Way cool, guys. I always like it when someone has a vision and it comes to fruition and is stunning. :)

I don't know if it fits the guidelines here or not, but we've also been working on a 33 HOT ROD .
(A factory five kit car) Kit cars are kind of a gray area here.

Looking at the pictures I just realized I didn't include the one of the dashboard...

  15. Being a fellow wagon nut it's kinda sad to see such a great thread come to a end,but I'm sure whatever is next for the strange days crew will be fun to follow. HRP

We debuted the car at our local mall spring show this weekend and we took four awards. The wagon got one of the top ten awards, Steve's Cobra got a top ten, we got an award for best club display and Chuck got a Goodguy's award from one of the clubs which is a years membership.
