Man you sure keep busy with all these shows! I for one am glad that you do. It's still winter up here, though we are starting to melt down & we won't have any shows for a couple of months. Then they cannot compare to the shows down there. Thanks. Bill

Great shots again!! I was there helping my friend with a C/Gas 9:60 car. There were some very nice 55's running in C and D gas. Also the 32 Vicky Vulcan was there-didn't see it run.

What body is this?

 

Not sure but have seen it run many times-consistent and runs C/gas-9.60 class. We were in line there beside the silver Nova in C/gas.

The wife and I went to Sacto for the Heritage races too - great weather and some nice cars.
I saw a chopped Model A coupe with "Mummert" on the doors and went over hoping to see a "full race" Y block but it was just an old 429 - bummer. The guy was cool and the car is a great old time racer. Wish I had gotten pictures.

I have a cousin in Manteca. If I had been paying attention to the show schedules I would have paid him an overnight visit.
And on a sad note, apparently Sacramento Raceway will be gone by 2020 due to the land going to development
