Great find, I would also like to see what's under the hood. Any pics of the '32 Pontiac sedan that got traded? That would be neat to see as well.

Congratulations @Pufff, nothing like a happy ending...little delayed but yeah...awesome time capsule. The 37 is a more desirable model of Tudor as well. So the moral of the story is Good Good...;) Perhaps you can snag some historic photos from the previous owners too.

Hope you share the resurrection with the crowd...we are always eager for vintage grease, old rubber, and steel...

Just a great find! Good for you for sticking with it, your persistence showed a genuine interest to the owner and now it's yours!

  16. Wow! What a hidden treasure and I can see why you didn't give up on it. Its so great to see your dogged persistence was rewarded. It pretty cool too that even at 82 or 83 years old the seller is still a true car addict in that he made a trade for your beautiful old Pontiac! Congratulations!

Ok Mr. Pufff.... I must say I still can't believe how this went down. When I was down there with you, I was sure you were still in for a few more years of "Grinding" away on this guy to sell it to you... And the Tudor sedan... You know I have one of those over in the ditch west of town... Hint Hint... Lol.
    Love ya buddy.

I thought I had patience and could be persistent when I really wanted something.
But you, Pufff, are the hands down winner, in more ways than I can count!
Great story, awesome find, and a greater outcome, CONGRATULATIONS!

That is a cool story. Glad it worked out well for you. That thing was a neat little hotrod back in its day and will be again. Do you know any of its history prior to when they bought it?

I don't see why you couldn't continue in this thread. I'll let a HAMB old timer answer that one. Regardless I'll be watching your progress.

What a great find and story to go with it. Moral is keep calling, there has to be a lot of other cars that people just give up on. Took me 40 years to finally locate a car I got a ride in back in the 1970's, but the guy won't part with it. Bob
