I haven't been on here for a while. Health, retirement and other things get in the way at times.

I have recently been hand crafting some large models. The latest is a '28 Model A RPU 'barn find'

This is about 1.4 metres long.

I needed a motor for it so I made this flathead. 21 Stud, Supercharged. All constructed out of MDF sheeting.

Still a fair way to go until it is all finished. The car still needs interior, steering, dash, gearbox and driveshaft.

Just something that I thought may interest some of you.

    Also, here's another earlier build.

This is 500 hours and nearly 1000 pieces. Just on 2 metres long.

  2. Nice to see you dropping in, haven't seen you here for some time.
Looks like your keeping busy. I'd seen your truck and racer, but not your Model A RPU.
Your doing a fine job, love the supercharged flat motor.

I take it that the 21 stud motor is using an 8-BA cam(or braun-nose adapter), front cover & distributer?

Very clever guy. Couldn't really see it too well at the Beach hop as there was a stall over the shop window. Didn't get back there when it was clear. But get to appreciate your work on here ,thanks.

The stalls was always going to be a problem. If you are in this area again get in touch and I will show you around the stuff in the garage.
