48 Stude........nice workmanship, especially the dash install/mods. Is that a '61/'64 era Chevy passenger car panel? Ray
Don't know if it was beefed up or not or how many they destroyed making the movie but they sure put this rig through hell. I'm not a great fan of the movie but I always enjoy watching the chase scenes.
We sure had fun in "Blue Heaven" didn't we brother. I wonder how it would have matched up with my was junk on the dragstrip? I took that photo of you on the salt in the black truck. I remember Sumner telling us to hurry up, that there would be lots of time to take photos. That photo is one of my favorites. The sunrise on the salt is the best time to be there. As a side note, I am doing the spring maintenance on WZ JUNK today, my AD truck. Changing the oil, greasing, and checking all the bolts. Getting ready for its 29th year. John
Just a thought, Stovebolt is having their home coming meet in Hughesville MD at the end of April. I have heard a lot of good things about this meet. If you live in the vicinity it will be worth the drive.
