  15. No pedal at all, just the linkage from a 47 Mercury car, the "nub" that the pedal would have connected to is all that's there, being a channeled A, there isn't really room for a pedal.. & I don't even notice when driving surprisingly..

Stock, over a mildly modified Lokar spoon, painted black, to make it disappear.

  20. IMG_0073.JPG I have a real thing for drum pedals used as gas pedals. Have several Speed King and others. Had a Ghost pedal set aside for the '35, but it wouldn't fit, too big. So I went with this early 20s Ludwig pedal.

Scratch built adjustable go pedal. All ball bearings and an internal return spring. I was real proud of my little gas pedal, so proud in fact that I hid it up in the cowl of my channeled modified! There is literally no way to see it, where it's mounted, without a mirror! Oh well I and my dentist, have seen it.

    Hello,

We loved all things Moon Equipment. So naturally, in addition to the inside of our 40 Willys C/Gas cab, (Moon Gas Tank and Handpump,) we had to have an aluminum, molded, Moon Foot Pedal like the one that Just Gary posted (#2).

These were the rage in 1960 and are still popular today. They were large enough to fit our huge size 11 teenage shoes comfortably. The little side braces kept the shoe centered for best performance.

If by chance a strap was needed, there were provisions for them. A strap was not necessary because the side braces did their job. In the early stages, when the excitement of a "full-on floor stomping" was called for, the tennis shoe sole would slip off of the little metal, stock, pedal that came with the car. This aluminum Moon Foot Pedal kept the foot centered and would not allow side slippage.

YOUR GAS PEDAL IS ? GONE…On August 14, all that was left of the Moon Aluminum Foot Pedal were a couple of bolts holding what was left of the base after our cabin explosion and fire. Aluminum melts faster than just about any metal. So it was extremely hot in that burning Willys cab in 1960 at Lions Dragstrip.

    Moon Foot Pedal: gone
    Moon Tank and Pump: gone
4 spoke steering wheel: only the steel remained...rubber gone
    clutch and scattershield: gone
