57' was a great year for Olds,
but...... the 57 Pontiac is hard to beat.... (I would take it over the 57 Chevy hands down)

  8. I bought this one in 1961, sold in 1962. I'm still having seller's remorse.

They are really a great looking cars. Kool Kat I really like your black example. Back in the late 60s there was a black 57 minus the front bumper with a 389 (or possibly 421-memory sucks) that really made me want to own one. The wagons also looks good. Just don't see than many sadly.

    Hi,
I think it was in Texas a long time ago, but never raced that I'm aware of. You might be thinking of this all white 57 hardtop. Really nice car.

Man that is cool I almost bought a 347 for my '57 Chev but what was advertised as a running engine turned out to be a seized block turned upside down with the oilpan off lol...up here the '55-7 pontiacs use the same frame as the Chev so alot of stuff interchanges...the 261 six was a strong contender against the 265
I'm missing a front split bench seat from my '57 Chev does anyone know if the '58 pontiac used the same width seat or are they wider?

Not sure about Canadian stuff, but I would bet it's the same as a 58 Chevy, which is not the same as a 57 Chevy.
