I've ridden in both and actually found the depth of seating better in the 41. Work with the upholsterer to get the depth you need and you'll be fine. I get that 51-52's are coming into their own but wait for the '40-41. Or not.
I'm in the same boat with the room part, but a little father on each spectrum. I'm 6'4" and thinking of selling my 33 pickup so I can build a 60 F-100 that is a little "roomier" hahaha. I love all pickups though, would drive any year
another thing to consider is that a coupe etc is only really appealing to a limited crowd but an ol farm truck appeals to everyone..... kids, old guys, young guys, hambers, old chicks, young chicks, EVERYONE loves them, so the demand is huge.... these old trucks will hold more $$ than any pigeon holed ride.....and i think the demand will keep it alive, well past being a passing fad.... my 2c
They are still out there...I bought this one last June. I've never seen one this original. Sent from my SM-G928V using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
With apologies to Chris. I kept looking at the '51 '52 grilles and thinking, what does that remind me of? Come on brain. Then it came to me. Wallace and grommit, of course. Don't get me wrong. I love the '51 - '52's. Had a '51 half ton Marmon Herrington once upon a blue moon ago. Couldn't resist the comparison though. Get myself in trouble. While you're thinking out of the box, what about AK Millers '39 Ford push truck that shows up in a bunch of the old pics.
