2nd Chance, Gary Morris has a new hot rod, here are a few sketchy pix from World Of Wheels in Omaha. This Model A tu-door sedan highboy has a sedan delivery door installed in the back. This is not a kit, but a Model A door massaged into the opening with some beautiful body work. The inside back has a gorgeous wood floor with metal strips like a pickup bed. The rest of the interior is upholstered in snuggly maroon pleather by Sky's Upholstery Service in Fremont, Ne. The dark blue exterior is complemented with black running gear and wheels. Some subtle pinstriping by Steve Gillette is very tasty. A reliable 350/350 combo and a Ford 9" posi out back. The top is a repro of the original deep ribbed style is really classy. Nice finish with steel wheels and Ford dog dishes, great little hot rod all around with some tasty mods to make it an original. This work was done in Fremont, Ne. by Dave Scheiman Jr. and Sr., with Gary very hands on throughout the build.

Very nice, they should be proud of that one. Is that a raised wooden floor with gas tank under it?

Very Nice, cargo room or area for the "furkids".

Yes the gas tank is under the wood deck. 18 gallon custom aluminum tank. Gary

I stared at this one for awhile. Nice work!

  15. This was a very nice car! I like the Mopar(I think) air cleaner. It was a neat touch to a neat build.
I wondered on the interior - I will reach out to them on a truck we are building.

Back door almost looks factory. Like the sill plate and step up into the back.

We looked at it for a couple weeks before we make the final decision to cut it up. The rear door is the panel that we cut out. Gary CUT-2.jpg

There is a small drip rail above the rear door that is hard to see. It really is trick and it finishes the door off very nicely. Gary BACKYARD-4.jpg
