Ray Lee said very probably , the car pictured was sold after he drove it once , he also said that this car and Greg welds #92 were built off the same plans , it was a Watson copy he said he thinks a Total of three cars was built off the plans , said Luther was a hell of a guy

That's awesome!!! There are a lot of dimensions written out in pencil on the original plans. And some notes as well. One is a notation to move a rear rod mount One that says " gas pedal" another that says " weight jack mount" ( very faint hard to read) haha. Thanks for following up with that

I saw on another site that indybigjohn has passed away. Name John Potts. He was a flagman and worked at IRP for years.

John was my media connection at IRP when I first moved to this area. He was a great guy with some serious history in the sport and I loved hanging out in his office at the track and listening to his stories. RIP mate.

Saw today that Pete Hamilton, 1970 Daytona 500 winner, who posted occasionally to this thread is going to run the feature at the Golden Speedway tonight.

Any idea who drove for Benovich? I'm thinking that Steve Krisiloff may have been in the seat at one time.

He also drove the Hoy Stevens' GMC
    .
Clare Lawicki of St Clair Shores, MI drove the car into the steel fence at Dayton. Don't think the car was rebuilt . He also drove the Hoy Stevens GMC.

I think, but am not quite sure, that Claire Lawicki also was the owner of Hoy's old 37 in the mid '60's.
