I Just Love the big aero engined specials.
Im still thinking a riley 9 in an A7 chassis could be fun - makes more sense than a steam engine in a Model A.

Ever walk up to a car and ask the owner "Anyone killed in that wreck?" Guys with little cars laugh more than the guys with BIG CARS. Just my observation over many many years.o_O

Easy to do..... there are lottsa Aircraft parts around...... you just gotta build one. BUT you better chain the blower down if the engine is in front of you. I don't think you get the "oh" of "oh shit "out before it hit you in the face.

The strange thing is that youtube keeps suggesting this kind of video to me......

Seem to remember reading in "bike" or "superbike" magazine about a "lucky keizer" in australia.
    Looks enourmous fun.
And if your directed to crazy stuff like that, somethings telling you to build something bad and crazy,

That was exciting on the same level as the Beast of Turin video.

    rgdavid,
I am also directed to Egyptian History by Youtube.
Does that mean I should be building a Pyramid?;)

I'm OK looking at pyramids without building one
The myths of batteries is shocking but not proven anywhere but the internet.

Cool little Framo Stromer, circa 1934. Framo began as a parts supplier to DKW motor cycles. Their 1st vehicle was a light cargo trike with a 1cyl 2stroke engine mounted above, and driving, the front wheel. In addition to the three-wheeler, they also built 4-wheeled cars. both had drivetrains bought in from DKW. After 1938, Framo built only conventional light trucks.

I remember seeing that car, looks like the venue is the national A7 rally at Beaulieu. From chatting to the owner there , one issue was the sorting the gearing to work with the relatively low peak RPM of the Aero motor.
BTW, the same talented chap built this car some years earlier, had very pretty bodywork and a blown Austin Seven engine.
