I have a friend who owns a '32 Studebaker 3 window and it is quite a big car. I'll try and get some pics, but I wondered if there are any other 30's Studebakers out there? Let's see pic's if you got them.......

I know this is an old thread, but I've been searching early Studebakers. There doesn't seem to be much info out there. I'll be pulling a 31 5 window out of it's resting place this spring, and I'm not sure what direction to take this car. Cadet Stimpy - is your car finished? Love to see pics of the build and what you did with yours.

Studebaker President was a big car with a 337 cu in straight eight, comparable to Packard, Cadillac, Chrysler Imperial or Lincoln. 1933 was the last year for the big President, 1934 and later were downsized considerably with a 250 cu in straight eight.

  8. Tids32, wow! It been a long time since I posted. That car took me five years to build. I put a 1954 Flatty in there with a T5 behind it, four wheel discs, a ton of sheet metal work... It was a very fun car to build. Here are some pics...

  9. There wasn't much left to restore to an original so I built a hot rod.

I forgot, it was in a magazine too!

Cadet Stimpy - I love it, the flathead certainly looks at home in there, and with the T5, should keep up. Well done! I don't think I'll be hot rodding mine, it's too complete and original. I don't have it in the garage yet, so I haven't evaluated the condition of the drive train, so no decisions made yet. If you ever decide to let yours go, let me know. I may want a stable mate for mine!
