We got about 20 inches in Woodbury CT. I spent the whole morning digging my two cars out. What a bummer. We got about 3-4 days of mild weather and them this. So much for Global warming BS
Seriously. I hurt my eyes shoveling my way through 50,000 feet of 80º and sunny over the weekend. I am from Connecticut. It took me a little while to figure it out, but, as it turns out, it is indeed possible to move.
Got about 10 inches, then it rained like hell for a couple of hours, then the temp dropped to 20* last night! Mother Nature's idea of a joke? Everything was frozen solid this morning. I sure am glad I'm retired- stayed inside till 8am, then went out to the garage, fired up the heat, and put the top wood kit in my coupe. It actually was pretty nice out by noon. Lots of power out around the area, but for once we didn't loose it. Wind was SCREAMING overnight- got a bunch of trees to cut up later. Don't worry, it's coming!! Happy St. Patrick's Day to all you Irishmen out there!
