  1. I'll keep the old Ford radar buzzin just in case :D I LOVE seeing cars like that from my neck of the woods.

I wonder what track that was taken at?

I just found this one, it's pretty rough but all there. well, the rocker panels aren't... i offered 1500. for it, the guy is " thinking about it" ... wouldn't give up a number that would work for him so I'll wait....

I picked this up over the summer, came from Oklahoma. Plans are a healthy chop while moving the rear quarter windows and package tray forward.

    Cool!

I love all the "fat fender" Fords of the 40's era.............

The later 47-48 Merc convertible was good lookin too............And the 39 Linc Continental!

  7. I love these cars too! So I'm bumping this in hopes of seeing more... :)

I've recently acquired this one and have plans to send it back to the post-war era (interior and paint - when I can afford it ).

Hmm, just noticed the goofy angle makes the bumper look crooked..

I came across this photo on the internet a few days ago... Only one photo, wish there where more. Looks like a very nice Custom 1941 Mercury Coupe from Ohio.

^^^^^^^Now that's a perfect Example^^^^^ I have a line on a 41 I might scoop up. I don't think I have the talent to cut one up but I might clean it up and see where it goes from there. Who knows!

I just purchased a 41 Merc as a father son project... My Dad had a 47 Ford while he was in the service... Although he has tolerated my old Fords he always wanted another 47 but finding a nice one is tough... I think I like the Merc better and I was in the right place at the right time...
