I'm planning to go with the Newport Engineering dual wiper set-up in my '36 Ford, mostly due to the feedback posted here & on Ford Barn. A little pricey, but I like to tour, so it'll be worth the money, I hope.

A question I have - does the motor protrude out of the header panel or does it look like a stock set-up when installed, with just the off/on and adjustment rods showing? Anybody have a pic of it installed?

    Thanks,
    -Bob

Suggest you call New Port directly and ask. Those folks are super knowledgeable about what they sell.

I installed a unit in my 52 GMC to replace the vaccum wipers, worked perfect with the original rods and clips just a bolt in, very high quality imo.

Have been using one of their units on my 39 1/2 Ton Chevy for over 5 years and 60k miles with no issues, I also bought the intermittent switch (worth the cost) if you plan on driving it when the weather is ??????

I installed the kit in 2 different 35 ford coupes. It fits behind the header without modification. It is a bit of a fight to get in place but it looks and works great once it is done.

  8. Got one on my '59 and a little bigger than the stock Trico that was on it.

Talk to Bob at Newport. This has 200k miles on it with Newport Engineering wiper.
I will admit it was the best and easy upgrade ever. Bolted right in. IMG_0552.JPG
