Does anyone know where the size is stamped on a wheel like this ? I would like to get two more to match. [IMG]

Looks like a 15" Ford F100 wheel, mid- late '80s.
    Can't tell about the width.

    It's a '49 - '51 Mercury, and it's 15'' x 5''

  6. 49-51 Mercury. 5-1/2" rim on all of mine, or 6" if they were Lincoln 49-51

Why not just pull the tire off the wheel and measure to be sure.

The diameter is on the tire...the width is a measuring tape away...as is the bolt circle, hub cap size and the back spacing.
You need all those measurements to get exactly what you need.
All we can do is give an educated guess without some basic info to go on!

Theres been a LOT of wheels used that look a lot alike over the years!

ford-truckf100-rims-1570-b.jpg That is mercury or lincoln for sure. Here is the 70-80s ford f100. Around the lug nuts is entirely different. Mercury is 5.5 wide, Lincoln is 6" wide. I have one of each, when you find out what you need PM me.

If your wheel has these 4 equally spaced "tits", they are Lincoln. Lincoln use a full wheel cover and these are the mounting tabs. If you wheels do not have them they are Mercury. DSC09862.JPG

I had a brain fart, it is a '49- E '51 Mercury wheel. Three hubcap nubs.

IF it has 3 hub cap 'nubs', it's a '49-'51 Merc. If it has 4 equally spaced 'nubs', it's a later Ford pickup wheel. ('80s)
IF it's a Merc wheel, it will take a Merc center cap, 11-1/4" diameter.
The Ford F150 wheel takes a cap that is 10-1/4" diameter.

Beware of the look-alike Merc wheels that are LINCOLN. They look identical to the Mercs, 3 nubs and all. But they are 11-1/2" hub cap nub diameter, (ask me how I know)
