So I have two cowls. Not sure what they are off of. Curious if anyone can help. The 1st has no dash in it. It has an "X" embossed on the firewall. No other markings I can find. Chevy? Buick? Dodge?

The 2nd had a couple of tags on it. I can't make out what the firewall tag says (it's ripped). Tag on the dash is for choke. Again unsure of make. Any advice would be appreciated. 20170312_142642.jpg 20170312_142416.jpg 20170312_142441.jpg 20170312_142536.jpg 20170312_142544.jpg 20170312_142610.jpg 20170312_142628.jpg 20170312_142642.jpg

Second cowl is a mid 1920's Buick. Probably a master 6 series

Could the 1st one (top pics) be a Dodge?

I don't think Dodge. I have a 20 something Dodge and it doesn't look anything like that, from what I've seen they didn't change much. There were so many different manufactures in the teens and twentys who knows, could be a lot of different possibilitys. Maybe someone here will recognize it but maybe not. I have an early dash out of something I've never ID, neither did anyone on here.

I agree the second one is most likely a buick. After 1924 would be my guess. Not sure about the first one. Cool little oilcan holder bracket attached to ite
