I saw your Vette but didn't see the show sign/owner info the 1st time. I thought "...Jim Dillon would like this one..." so I guess I was right. Saw it the 2nd time and your name on it. WTF, right? A couple times I tried to look you up but we know how 'Rama is. So fast forward to loading on the trailer, some asshole was blowing the horn at you as he passed by on Fort St. That was me. Hope you had a good time.

Thanks a million. Great cars and pics. Tell Denise the HAMB says " Hi, and would it kill you to check in once a year?"

Highlander I had a good time but as you know four days can be brutal. It was a good show for sure all in all. Sorry I missed you. Ran into a couple of HAMBers but I did not sit next to my car most of the time as I wanted to BS, tell lies and look at cars.

As you know loading after the show is tons of fun. I came down with my car club (8 of us) and we had three trailers together in the same block and no place to put our cars. We drove our cars on the sidewalk and loaded them one by one, moving the trailers back and then forward etc. It was a bit of a cluster you know what. I heard a couple of people honking including some other guys I knew. As I said sorry I missed you. I had a pretty good time and hope you did as well.

Thanks for posting all of the pics. I enjoyed the side trips also. After looking at several postings from different people I am wondering if the attendance was a little low at this show or did you take pictures at an early or late hour of the show to avoid the crowds?

I was there on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, so probably not the height of the busiest times. It was pretty crowded when I left around noon on Saturday.

George, I don't know anything about that Vega. 100_7917.jpg This is the only other picture I have with it and it probably doesn't help.

Colour looks like it, but the stripe isn't there, that doesn't mean much. Was it part of a display of factory GM "dream" cars? Pretty historically significant car, if it is. Factory built all aluminum 302!

A long time ago I was shown a factory V8 Vega at a swap meet. The guy offered it as a trade on something I was selling. He had paper to prove it was a GM build, wasn't all aluminum, iron block/heads, aluminum intake, 71 LT1 variant. It was that bronze-brown color of the time. He wanted my car and cash and I wasn't that fired up over it, but it was kool.
