I am glad to see that you have officially taken possession of that little Falcon! Keep us posted on any progress you make bringing it back from the brink.

  2. Don't remember if I posted this before and I'm too lazy to go back through the last 100 or so pages. This 50 Olds was being used as a retaining wall on a curve on Skyline Boulevard above Los Altos CA. I took this photo around 1969. I went back about a year ago and couldn't find a trace of it. Always made me feel kind of sad since the 2nd car I ever owned was a 50 Olds.

Found and bought these 2 last week. Had been setting since the mid 60's. The 38 chevy came with the original title that was issued with it. Both are very buildable vehicles. 20170228_133431.jpg 20170228_133456.jpg 20170228_133502.jpg 20170228_134847.jpg 20170228_133431.jpg 20170228_133456.jpg 20170228_133502.jpg 20170228_134847.jpg 20170228_133431.jpg 20170228_133456.jpg 20170228_133502.jpg 20170228_134847.jpg

While it was on my trailer parked in front of the store I had a guy come over and tell me about a Falcon convertible he wants to get rid of. Looked at it last night, it's a 63 Sprint, in surprisingly good shape, complete minus the 260 and auto trans. Price was right, little more than scrap value, so that's coming home too.

59 Plymouth Sport Fury Conv. This car was hit in the left rear about 1962, and put upstairs in this barn at a Chrysler Plymouth dealer. In 2009 I bought it and parted it out. Only thing left is the bare, but solid body. Left rear is junk, but someone would love to have that mint pan and cowl.

Don't know, I stopped numerous times, never anyone around. Place is cleaned up now, everything is gone. This was right at the entrance to the property the South Glens Falls Dragway was on in NY.

Heres some old rusty material looking for some tlc. Just saw them today near Niagara on the Lake. The International and Reo are for sale. No afiliation just putting out some pics. I did talk to the fellow and got a #. Pm if interested otherwise enjoy the rust...;) both are somewhat solid despite rusty appearance.

Red's a roller now with a 9" from a 57 Ford and some AMC wheels. On to the next one, the Sprint Conv that the sedan found for me. Showed up at 7am this morning in -5 degree weather, we did a transfer from one trailer to another, now it's time to assess what's here, what's not, how bad the body is. I paid ittle mire thsn scrap price for it, I'm happy with what I see so far.
