Had it just over a year.
Picked up a '40 flatty and a '39 3 speed, '39 gauges, patch panels, and a few other odds and ends, for it.
Wish I could say I've gotten more actual work done on it.

I know the feeling of jumping around from car to car due to money. I keep recycling them into my one care garage from storage sheds to do welding and such. Basically do what I can till I have to spend money and if I don't have the finances at that point, recycle another one into the garage and work on that. A lot of my cars are over 50% done but I am never going to have a show car out of any of them. I like to drive my stuff and if I built it to run....well I run it the way it was built. No trailer queens coming out of my stuff. I do some spirited driving so the typical paint chips and tire wear are a factor.

  8. Second gen Falcons and Hummers. Who could ask for more. When I was in high school a portion of my income came from wrenching on a '64 Futura that belongs to one of the higher income family kids who's dad cut him off. LOL

I could spend lots of hours and miles of being embarrassed about this one. LOL

    Looks good.

Boy I'd almost like a fordor just because of the room you have inside to work.

I'm building my first hotrod in my garage behind my house.
It's a 29 Tudor 3" chop (to be channeled) 8ba flatty, 40 rear building it as an early 50's period hotrod. I'm learning more than I'm building. Started working on it 1st week in Dec 16

They all have to start somewhere and this is where mine starts.
Long wheelbase GMC 1/2 ton frame that I have packed around for over 20 years that is getting a Chevy front crossmember and will grow into a stretched cab version of my 48 from there.

Take it apart, see what's up. Begine to get discouraged at the amount of work ahead of me, but pick piece by piece by piece...

    Front.JPG

Can't buy that body part, so off to the equipment we go. English wheel, hammer and dolly, weld, cut fit and reweld. IMG_4190.JPG
    IMG_4182.JPG
I'll get there, but I may be older upon completion.

One thing that I really would like to have is a 27 tall T with a title. I would definitely lessen the fleet by a car or three for that.

Not sure this fits, but I like it - 52 Jag MKVII mild custom. Still working on fender skirts and interior.
