The Monogram Black Widow...no paint, no detailing, no hassle and still holding together.

  3. Finished the '29 Ford Pickup just in time for a show in RVA.
Added Ohio plates as a tribute to the 1:1 truck owner.
He PMed me and shared photos and a YouTube video.
The inspiration pickup is a '28 Ford...I used the '29 Ford closed cab.

  7. [IMG] worked on my spray booth this week. I will let everyone know if I blow the house up.

  8. Sauli - The underside of the '58 shows you know what they looked like when new. Great detail, the "just popped my hub caps off at the track'' look is just right.

For you youngsters, there was once the "Kat from AMT" - and a hot rodder / custom builder Budd Anderson - who worked with AMT developing models, doing promotions, shows, etc.. Here is some of the art and stuff. See the link to a web site that will tell you more. Gary

    Paint is Dupli-Color Ford Champagne.
The Road King plaque is a foil copy of some pewter charms I scored at the Houston Autorama.

I've got an original issue MPC 56/57 Corvette in the works but in the meantime here are four

  19. This is a cool old model. It came with a balloon to make it levitate. I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't have worked. 1354.jpg 1362.jpg

  20. Here is one I built of the Jetson's Bubble Top car. 598.jpg 600.jpg

  25. It's the joker goon car. Still gotta paint the lower half purple. The instructions say to paint the interior a bunch of wild colors.
