Looking to put an aftermarket speedometer on my '29 roadster with an aluminum powerglide. Are the cable ends the same for a powerglide as a 350 turbo? Most cables show applications for GM , 350 etc but only a few specify powerglide. Also are the cable attachments on aftermarket speedometers pretty much the same?
    Thanks for any advice.

They are the same at the transmission, and most aftermarket speedometers are like most old stock speedometers, with a 5/8" thread and a small square drive.

Thanks Squirrel, I thought that might be the case but wanted to be sure before I ordered anything. Thanks again.
